Hamlin pipes up with BIPV

Hamlin Energy Solutions, is installing the largest building integrated photovoltaic (BIPV) laminate rooftop power plant in the southeast US at its sheet metal fabrication plant in Benson, North Carolina in the US.
The 104 kW system covers 24,000 square feet, with Hamlin saying the cost of a typical system is approximately $7.50 to $8.50 per square foot, depending on the size.
Will Hamlin, Executive Vice President of Hamlin Energy Solutions said: 'The tax incentives offered by North Carolina make it especially viable and practical for industrial and corporate organizations within our state.'
